8. Response Time Commitments

Response times are measured in Norwegian business hours (Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET/CEST). La Marz & Co is a solo-operated business. Response times may occasionally exceed stated targets during periods of high volume or unavoidable absence. Urgent matters (data breaches, legal service) will be acknowledged as soon as possible regardless of business hours.

GDPR-mandated response times: We will acknowledge data subject requests within 5 business days and provide a full response within 30 calendar days. Where we need to extend this by a further two months due to complexity, we will notify you within the initial 30-day period (GDPR Article 12(3)).

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

La Marz & Co is established in Norway and operates under Norwegian law. All commercial agreements with customers are governed by Norwegian law, with the courts of Oslo, Norway having primary jurisdiction for non-arbitrated disputes.

Data protection matters are governed by the GDPR as implemented in Norwegian law (Personopplysningsloven). The primary supervisory authority is Datatilsynet, Norway.

EU consumers and UK consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence where mandatory consumer protection rights cannot be waived by contract.
